About Us

Organic Feed Store is part of Hobby Farm Dreams, a hobby farm located in Hamburg, MN.  In 1998 we began breeding Olde English Babydoll Sheep and started raising free range chickens.  It was immediately apparent that many people we looking to put "good" food on the table.  That is food that did not contain an y chemicals, growth hormones or antibiotics.  And so we found our niche...raising animals grown using natural methods based on organic standards and selling organic feed and minerals.

We now raise about 2,000 free range chickens a year, feeding the organically certified chicken feed and raising them using a true free range method.  In fact, all our livestock is raised in this manner.  We use no chemical fertilizers or pesticides, no growth hormones and no un-necessary antibiotics.  We use what we sell and pride ourselves in the fact that our animals are happy and healthy with very few visits from the vet.   Currently living on the farm are sheep, goats, peacocks, chicks, llamas, donkeys, guinea fowl, pot bellied pig, mini horse, and an assortment of dog and cats.
